Nobody is perfect. We all make mistakes. We let our friends and family down, and we let ourselves down. Saying sorry takes courage and humility, but it is essential for restoring relationships. This activity encourages pupils to think about things that they want or need to say sorry for, and then take the first steps in doing so.
There are other prayer activities in our library that also focus on saying sorry. Almost every prayer space that we're aware of has included a 'sorry' prayer activity. If you are returning to a school for a second or third prayer space, it might be good to use a different 'sorry' activity, just to keep things fresh for the students.
Here are some alternative ways to represent a 'sorry' prayer activity; Fizzy Forgiveness, paper prayers thrown into a 'sin bin', paper prayers fed through a shredder, cardboard prayers pegged onto strings, etc.
