- The Chest
We all do things that we wish we hadn't done. Sometimes we feel ashamed and try to keep what we’ve done, or said, hidden because we don't want anyone to know about it. These are dark secrets.
In the Bible it says that God knows everything about us, even the secret things that we try to hide from everyone else, and yet he still loves us. Nothing is so bad that God cannot, or will not, forgive.
This activity encourages pupils to think about the things that they've said or done that they don't feel they can tell anyone about, and to tell God about it. Pupils are invited to (anonymously) write down one secret and place it into a big, padlocked chest.
