“A huge thank you for all your time and enthusiasm in creating an amazing space for the children to reflect and talk to God in different ways. We have had brilliant feedback from staff and children alike, saying how much they got out of it and how valuable it was to have the time and space to quietly reflect. Rarely have I seen such a demand from staff for a ‘repeat’ event, we would love to have you and the prayer spaces back.”Headteacher (Hampshire)

We all do things that we wish we hadn't done. Sometimes we feel ashamed and try to keep what we’ve done, or said, hidden because we don't want anyone to know about it. These are dark secrets.

In the Bible it says that God knows everything about us, even the secret things that we try to hide from everyone else, and yet he still loves us. Nothing is so bad that God cannot, or will not, forgive.

This activity encourages students to think about the things that they've said or done that they don't feel they can tell anyone about, and to tell God about it. Students are invited to (anonymously) write down one secret and place it into a big, padlocked chest.
