Stevenage: Getting Started with Prayer Spaces in Schools

Tue, 22 Oct 2019 10:30 - Tue, 22 Oct 2019 12:00

Interested in getting started with your first Prayer Space? This is for you!

Since 2007 over 4000 prayer spaces have been run in primary schools, secondary schools and colleges around the country. This training is for anyone interested in running a prayer space in either primary or secondary schools.

You'll learn what prayer spaces are and how they work, hear stories and examples from people and parishes who have already run prayer spaces. There will be time to explore a range of prayer space activities suitable for schools, along with training on the practical steps required to set up and run an engaging, safe and appropriate prayer space in a school setting.

Catherine Clayton from the Prayer Spaces in Schools team will be speaking at this training event. Catherine has lots of experience in running charities, connecting with schools, gathering teams and running prayer spaces.
