Michelle shares why and how prayer week at her school has been significant for her with simple understatement of some amazing experiences.

"Having a prayer week at my school has transformed my own prayer life and deepened my understanding of prayer. The week has also impacted the life of individual students, staff and the school as a whole. It has opened up the opportunity for numerous conversations about prayer and faith. It has been a real highlight of the academic calendar and one that receives positive response from students and staff. Students have been able to engage in prayer on a variety of levels and have themselves been transformed. One student has recently started attending a local Church and another informed me that the way she prays has changed due to the way prayer is modelled through prayer week and subsequent assemblies. This student and I recently prayed for her father and he was healed.

I’m keen to build upon what’s been happening through weeks of prayer at my school. A week of prayer is significant because it is a great way to launch prayer at school and build a momentum towards sustaining a rhythm of prayer. My current focus is how we as a school and I as an individual can integrate prayer into each and every day at school."
