Archbishop Sentamu Academy in Hull has about 1250 students on role, and more than 800 of them visited their first Prayer Space just before Easter. Jason Taylor’s wonderful report traces the joy and pain of a Prayer Space. If you need persuading, this’ll do it.

As I write this I am struck by the sheer amount of Prayer Spaces that have taken place in Oxfordshire in the last couple of years. Two years ago, one Prayer Space had happened, ten followed last year, and by the end of this year twenty three will have taken place!

Prayer Spaces are being hosted in all kinds of schools, both in cities and in the rural countryside. Cheryl Govier is a youth and children’s worker in rural Somerset, covering a large area which has five primary schools. She’s already hosted Prayer Spaces in three of them.
