Who is it for? The afternoon session is for teaching staff only. The evening is for anyone interested in Prayer Spaces and in the work of PACE.

Since 1991 PACE (Practical Assistance in Christian Education) has been creating opportunities for children to engage with Christianity. The PACE team work in over 30 Guernsey schools, with children and young people from 4 – 19 years of age.

On Monday 2nd July, the PACE team are hosting two events, and you are very welcome to come join in with either/both;

4.00pm (3.45pm for refreshments): Prayer Spaces in Schools Presentation. Phil Togwell will talk about the development of Prayer Spaces in Schools around the UK. As well as some story-telling, we will try to cover; how to host a Prayer Space, good practice guidelines, developing new resources, theology and values, and also make time for Q&A.

7.30pm (7.15pm for refreshments): PACE Annual General MeetingPhil Togwell from Prayer Spaces in Schools UK will explain the concept and purpose of Prayer Spaces and how it can benefit island schools. PLUS the PACE team will talk about their activities over the last 12 months.
